Thank goodness for friends who humour my American desires like pumpkin carving and Thanksgiving.

Beginning with a wonderful Halloween themed package from Mum, Lolo & Nancy, I was definitely in the fall spirit. After eating my fill of pumpkin cookies, lollipops dressed as ghosts, and Esther Price chocolates (sighhh, Dayton), my flatmates and I decided to host a pumpkin carving extravaganza.

I also made my first attempts at roasted pumpkin seeds. The garlic/chilli powder ones turned out quite nicely, but I wouldn’t recommend sugar and cinnamon. Unfortunate aftertaste.

This is our last week of classes before the reading week (then we’re celebrating Thanksgiving!), and then it’s just five more weeks until the end of the term!

Now, share with me...
